What Learn with KAMTOBE collects when you join a list, book a session or pay, why we need it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who is responsible for your details

KAMTOBE Creations Limited is the data controller for personal information collected through learn.kamtobecreations.com (Learn with KAMTOBE). We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17288786. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. For any privacy question or request, email admin@kamtobecreations.com. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to; Ifeoma Odumodu, our founder, handles privacy requests.

What we collect, why, and our legal basis

The free starter and waiting lists

When you sign up for the free starter, or join the Website in a Weekend or cohort waiting list, we receive your first name, your email address, the list you joined, the page you signed up on and, for the starter, which description fits you best. If you arrived from a link with campaign tags (for example from one of our social posts), we also note those tags, so we know which posts are useful. We store this in a database run by Cloudflare. We use it to send what you asked for, to tell you when a programme opens, and to send occasional emails from Learn with KAMTOBE. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to admin@kamtobecreations.com.

Booking a 1:1 session

The booking buttons open Ifeoma's booking page on Cal.com. Cal.com collects your name, email address, your answer to "What would you like to work on?", your time zone, the time you choose and, on the link for sessions you have already paid for, your payment receipt number, which we check with Stripe or Paystack to confirm your session. Cal.com adds the session to Ifeoma's Google Calendar, creates a Google Meet link and sends the confirmation emails. We use these details to hold and prepare your session. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, or steps you ask us to take before one.

Paying

Nothing is sent to a payment provider unless you choose to pay. Dollar and pound payments open Stripe's hosted checkout; naira payments open Paystack's hosted checkout. Each provider collects the contact, billing and card or bank details needed to take the payment, under its own privacy policy. We never see your full card details. We receive your name, email address, the amount, the payment status and the receipt reference, so we can match the payment to your sessions and keep accounting records. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legal obligation to keep accounting and tax records.

Your coaching sessions

Sessions take place on Google Meet. We keep the written notes and next steps we send you after each session, so we can support you across sessions. We only record a session if you agree first. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.

WhatsApp and email

If you message or call us on WhatsApp (+44 7352 302982), we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and what you send us. WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited and Meta under their own terms and privacy policy. Email sent to admin@kamtobecreations.com is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our Google Gmail inbox, where it is stored. We use these messages to reply. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering questions.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. Like any web host, it processes technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. This site does not use analytics cookies or advertising trackers. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information if the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of these providers may handle your information outside the UK. Where a country has no UK adequacy decision, we rely on the safeguards in each provider's data processing terms: the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. You can ask us which safeguard applies to a provider, and for a copy of it where one is available, by emailing admin@kamtobecreations.com.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You have the right to be informed about how we use your information, and the right to ask for a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict how we use it, to object to how we use it (including where we rely on legitimate interests), and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email admin@kamtobecreations.com and we will respond within one month. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to protect the site; it does not need consent. The site keeps two items in your browser's local storage, which stay on your device and are not sent to us:

Cal.com, Stripe and Paystack set their own cookies on their own pages, under their own policies.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
